Week 2 - The Map

Hello All,
Welcome to week 2 of our journey.
I started my lab assigned for this week and begin creating my Visio of the site map.  So far the assignment is fairly easy maybe a little too easy.  I will continue working on the site map and include links and ISO naming conventions. Below is my sample site diagram, at the moment each page is named base on the page title, but this will be changed shortly. Throughout the week, I will continue work on building content for each individual page.

  1. The journey continues! Your site diagram turned out great. Though you mentioned you'll be changing them, your labels are descriptive and work well. The color coding on your pages is a nice effect as well. I hope I have just as easy a time with the lab as you did. Good luck moving forward!

  2. Tara the diagram looks superb. I like the use of the home icon to establish the page that links to the others. The use of colors makes it more readable.

  3. Tara, great job on your diagram. It is very nicely done. Did you use Visio? The design looks great and is easily readable. Also I like the quote at the end.

  4. I am wondering if you need to represent the external CSS style sheet in the conceptual web diagram. I am not sure if you would group the pages together in groups and annotate. I would think this would be beneficial in creating a deliverable for a design company. I will need to look into this for a blog post next week.
